About 27 Baseball
Family-owned, baseball and softball through and through
27 Baseball opened in 2019 in McDonough, Georgia. Owned by Jeff Ginther and David Longino, we're a family-owned and operated business run by baseball and softball enthusiasts, and we built the kind of store we always wanted to shop in: real gear you can pick up and try, people who know the game, and a place to get better.
Today 27 Baseball is a baseball and softball store with an attached 5,000 sq ft training facility, serving players and families across south metro Atlanta.
Our staff has played the game at a high level
Most of our staff are current or former college athletes. When they fit your player for a bat or glove, or explain why one model suits a swing better than another, the advice comes from people who have competed at a high level and used this gear themselves.
- Andrew Ginther – former Division I pitcher
- Jackson Ginther – current Division I baseball player
- Maddi Spieks – First Team Academic All-American softball player
- Leah Longino – college softball player
- Logan Meredith – former high school standout
Customer service comes first
We pride ourselves on the best customer service in the business. That means taking the time to fit every player properly, giving honest advice even when it means a less expensive bat or glove, and helping families sort out league bat rules before they buy. It's why our customers rate us 4.9 stars on Google, and why so many local players and travel teams make 27 Baseball their home shop.
What we do
- Gear for every position: bats, gloves, cleats, catcher's gear and equipment, and apparel from the brands players trust.
- Free HitTrax bat fitting: any player can swing our demo bats and compare the numbers. About 20 minutes, no purchase needed.
- Glove repair, relacing and break-in on our in-house repair bench.
- Hitting lessons and batting cage memberships in our training facility.
- Custom team uniforms and spirit packs for travel teams, rec leagues and schools.
Why families shop with us
Because we're family-owned, every customer gets the kind of help we'd want for our own players. Try before you buy, get honest advice on sizing and league rules from staff who have played college ball, and walk out game-ready. Every purchase is backed by our 365-day return policy on unused items.
Serving south metro Atlanta
Players come to us from McDonough, Stockbridge, Locust Grove, Hampton, Jackson, Griffin, Ellenwood and across Henry County.
